More than one pass - T-mobilitat

One T-mobilitat, more than one different ticket

 

T-mobilitat now allows you to load more than one different pass at the same time.

  • Personalized plastic card: you can top up up to 2 different passes at the same time.
  • Mobile: you can top up up to 5 different passes at the same time.
  • Anonymous cardboard card: does not support this new functionality, you can only top up 1 pass at a time.

To enjoy this advantage, you must sign up and get the plastic card or travel with your mobile. The cardboard T-mobilitat does not allow this functionality.

The plastic card allows up to 2 passes, while the mobile can carry up to 5.

How to select the pass you travel with

You will always have a selected pass for travel, which will be the one you use by default when you validate the card. If you want to change the selected pass, you can do so in two ways:

From your mobile, you can easily select which pass you want to travel with.

Bring the card close to any vending machine in the network, and there you can select the pass for travel.

What you need to know

If you have validated with one pass and are in the middle of a journey, do not select any other pass until you finish it, to avoid problems with transfers or exit validation.

If you have a T-usual and a T-casual, and you first validate with the T-usual, you cannot give the card to another person to validate with the T-casual; if you did, you would lose the information of the first validation and would not be able to transfer or exit, in case you need exit validation. This is due to the information storage capacity of the plastic card. With the mobile, however, you would not have any problems.
